Mikoluv lies near the Czech-Austrian border, in Moravia. It is a pretty town and has some nice bike and hiking trails in its vicinity, as well as a fairly interesting cave (the tour of which - in Czech only - costs about $4). Mikoluv makes a good day trip from Brno.
